I was using the laptop (Aspire A315-57G) while it wasn't plugged in and the battery was a bit low so I had battery saver turned on. I picked it up switched places and I saw that there was some issue with the screen as the mouse wasn't responsive and it was completely frozen.

I pressed the power button till it turned off and then tried turning it on again. The scree laptop would turn on but the screen would remain off. I tried this a few times but it stopped turning on andthe blue light blinked 5 times after that when I tried turning it on.

I searched online and found out that the battery was dead. I plugged it in and let it charge for a bit. Now that I try turning it on, the power light is blue and the fan is also spinning but the screen is completely black and isn't turning on at all.

Also, when I plug in or remove the adapter while it is on, there is a loud beep which is louder than the usual beep I got when doing the same thing when the laptop was okay.

I have tried the reset pin on battery but that didn't work. Please help me fix this quickly as I am a University student and cannot afford another laptop and I also have important work on it 😔

So apparently there was some issue with the battery not having enough charge maybe or something but when I tried to turn it on now, the same thing happened but this time it turned off itself a few times and started up again. Had an rgb mouse connected which wasn't turning on before but this time it turned on so I realised it was now OK and the laptop is now working as normal

Hi @ZYBORXELLER Do you have the possibility to connect an external monitor or TV and check if you have an image? Thank you.

Not right now. Its currently 8pm where I am and I'll only have access to that tomorrow at around 11am which is too long and I've also got classes so I really need this in working condition. is it possible to fix it without that?

I don't know if it will help but the loud beep I might be related to my issue.

Okay, a beep at boot may indicate an electrical problem with the motherboard or the power supply itself.

No the beep doesn't occur at boot.

    Here is what is happening:

    1. I turn on the laptop

    2. Charging light is red (if plugged in) and the power light is blue and the fan is spinning

    3. The screen remains off

    4. If I try to plug in or remove the adapter, there is a beep. That is normal for this laptop, but this beep is louder than the normal beep that happens when I plug in or remove the adapter when the laptop is on in normal condition.
