What Spin513 model do you have? For example CP513-2H? Many internal chromebook screens only support 2K resolutions. However, you may be able to use an external 4K screen since most chromebooks support alternate mode type-C DisplayPort video output

And it's not Acer that does the OS, that's Google. If they supported H265 in 107 I would have expected them to also support it in 110, unless they decided to not pay the royalties…

If your Acer Chromebook Spin 513 is running Chrome OS version 110 and it is not playing GoPro 11 videos encoded in 4K H.265, there are a few things you can try:

    1. Make sure you have the latest version of the video player app installed. Go to the Google Play Store, search for your preferred video player app, and check if there is an update available.
    2. Try a different video player app that supports 4K H.265 videos. Some recommended options include VLC for Android, MX Player, and Plex.
    3. Check the video file format and codec settings. Some video players may not support certain file formats or codecs. You can use a video conversion software like Handbrake to convert the video to a different format or codec that is compatible with your video player.
    4. Contact Acer customer support for further assistance. It's possible that there may be a hardware or software issue preventing the Chromebook from playing 4K H.265 videos. Acer support can provide more detailed troubleshooting steps and help you resolve the issue.
