Replacement key for Swift 5 (SF514-52). Will Swift 3's fit?

Hi.

I am not concerned about looks - I don't mind if the key is a different colour, for example - so will a key from a Swift 3 fit a 5? Assuming similar hinge type, etc?

Thanks.

There is no reference to just the keyboard for the SF514-52 laptop from Acer SG and only for the keyboard and top cover without the touchpad, look on eBay or Amazon for a replacement keyboard only as they are available there.

Here is one from my eBay (Australia) NEW LISTINGFor Acer Swift 5 SF514-52 SF514-52T SF514-54G SF514-54T SF515-51T Keyboard US and its US $16.50 with free shipping, yes its a copy from China and this keyboard could have a few differences to the oem but its a very easy choice as the oem you can only get the top case/keyboard setup.

    That's fab, thanks Steven.

It would also be perfect if the keys were interchangeable; I've looked out how to replace the whole keyboard, and that's a frighteningly deep delve into the laptop - a bit scary for me. Also, if it's a quite different construction to the original, I might be disappointed by its responsiveness.

But, a great start - I'll ask them about it. Many thanks :-)

I've had a reply from that seller, and sadly they are not key-interchangeable, so the whole KB would need replacing - a task beyond my fear factor.

I'm sure I can source decent second-hand keys given enough time.

    Thanks.
