how to plug a microphone into an Aspire S7-191?

Hello,

I have an Acer Aspire S7-191.

I would like to plug a microphone but there is only 1 hole (audio input/output) and when I plug a mic into it it does not work.

Which settings should I change?

The S7-191 has a "Headphone and microphone combo jack", which will support headphones or a microphone.

Can you be very specific with what you are plugging into the jack? Make/model would help.

I can definately confirm that you should have not to change any settings.

Plugging the device into the jack should automatically detect what has been plugged in.

Have you attempted to plug anything else into the jack? Either headphones and/or another microphone?
