Wifi disconnection problem.

Hello my name is Gintaras. I've recently bought a new acer laptop (Acer Aspire V3-571G) and I've ran into an unpleasant trouble.

I've noticed that my laptop finds it hard keeping connected to my wireless network and keeps disconnecting and slowly reconnecting every few minutes. The internet seems stable when I stick the cable in my laptop, so I think it has to do something with wifi software, drivers or even my router.

I tried finding the problem solution on Google, but no luck yet , so I decided to contact this forum and hope that you can help me find the solution ><.

Some info that may be valuable :

  My laptop OS is Win7.

Other laptop in our home (which is right next to mine) has no such problems and runs smoothly.

Our internet speed is 54 mbps.

I've only installed the drivers from the disc I've been given when purchasing laptop, I haven't updated them.

I really hope you can help me fix this issue and sorry for bad english Smiley Happy.

Apparently all my drivers are up to date, I also tried disabling and enabling the network device as well as disabling that power saving thingy. I'm out of ideas can anyone help :?

I've learned that re-installing the connection driver doesn't solve the problem...

If anyone encountered a similar problem please share your thoughts, it'd mean a lot to me Smiley Sad

Apparently, either way no one cares about these problems people are facing, or no one knows how to fix it. Both are equally dissapointing.

I've got a good suggestion to improve these "forums" and improve the community : Start helping people or at least start paying attention to them.

Dissapointed in Acer big time. I won't get back here again nor I'll recommend your products or this site to anyone. Sad.

This is a peer to peer support forum. It is not the venue to reach technical assistance from Acer. For that, you need to contact Acer directly.
