Note that it's best to get an actual M.2 screw instead of a normal M2x3mm or M2.5x3mm, the M.2 screws have a wider head and will actually hold the SSD. Most of the standard laptop screws in that size have a very small head and the drive can pop loose.

when mine comes in I'm going to screw it in place with a screw just like the one that came with the pc for the SSD already there and good point billsey that could be easily overlooked like how i forgot to use washers to mount the frost blade fans to the top no problems yet but Ya never know if there needed or not.

You can get around it with a plastic washer, but those are actually harder to find than the M.2 screws. :)

What size washer for the frostblade fans up top? I am keeping a running inventory of everything I am going to need when I purchase the noctua and second ssd.

    So far it includes:

    1. Set of 10mm philips head m3 screws

    2. Set of M2 ssd screws

    3. One extra fan y-splitter cable (@chugzilla or @billsey would either of you happen to have an Amazon link for this?)

    4. Washers

for the fans i didnt use any washers but thats your choice of course it all depends on what type of screws you use to mount them i used the type of screw that has the recessed-tapered head so it fits nice and tight and doesnt need a washer and you wont need the extra y splitter either i have the upper fans plugged in to the dual number 3 ports and they work perfect there and predator sense controls them the splitter that comes with the Noctua use that for its fans and that goes in port 4 where the stock cooler was. thats about it you got this !!@!!
