My Predater Helios 300 PH315-55 won't charge or turn on.

Predater Helios 300 PH315-55-73EH

Model Number: N22C3

I just got the laptop and and followed the set up instructions. But when I plug in the charger. The Laptop won't charge or turn on. And there is no light indicators.

Is there something I need to do?

    Hi @PrincePhant9m waiting for more answers that can help your query, if the equipment is new I would contact the seller and/or Acer directly to avoid loss of warranty.

    Also make sure that the power jack is well inserted into the laptop and connect the power supply directly to a wall outlet, avoid using a power extension.

    If you're in warranty have Acer fix it; obviously that's the best route.

    If you're out of warranty you could try making sure the barrel connection point (The power port on your laptop) has its cable securely fastened to the PCB (Motherboard)


    Another thing to check would be to ensure the CMOS battery didn't go dead.

    They cost a few dollars and are almost all universal.

    Its a small disc battery typically plugged into the motherboard and set behind the main battery.
