My monitor would not connect to my xbox series s for some reason even though I had a 1.4 hdmi connected and I ended up accidentally turning the freesync off on the monitor and now I cannot get to the monitor setting to switch this back on. Instead it just prompts me to change the inputs and this is the only thing I can do now. Is there any way to get my monitor back working or am I screwed. Also a way to get my Xbox to connect to the monitor would be much appreciated.

On the monitor – use the control buttons.  There will be an option to reset monitor settings to default.  Try to reset the monitor and check.

If it is still not working kindly follow the steps given below

Remove all the cables from monitor.  Press and hold the power button of monitor for 1 min.  Connect all the cables back. Try to turn on the monitor.  Connect the monitor to device and check. If the cable is non removable please don't try to remove it.

Please remove the cable between monitor and device.   Try to connect it back and check.  If possible try to use an alternative cable and check.

If the problem persists try to use an alternative power cable and display cable and check.  Try to bypass the surge protector and connect the monitor directly to power outlet.  Try to connect monitor on a different power outlet or surge protector and check.

To isolate the issue, try to use the same monitor to a different device and check or Try to use an alternative monitor on this device and check.

Do a factory reset of the monitor by Tpressing and holding the menu key. Next, head to ‘System Setup; a prompt menu will appear; click on ‘Yes’ from the display. This will help restore the Acer monitor to factory settings.

So this is the correct button? I’ve tried holding it and waiting for something to come up but nothing has.

To be more clear this is the only thing my monitor is doing.
