Hi there guys,,

i was thinking to add an extra ram and add/upgrade my ssd for the nitro-5 2019

so currently i have these specs:-
Storage specs:--
1) SSD default Micron-512GB
2) Toshiba 1tb hdd (was added before)
Ram Specs:-
1)Sk Hynix Default factory ram 16gb-ddr4-2666mhz-single slot another slot is open

Now My Plans and Questions and Recomendations....
1)Now I dont want to remove the default  ssd.
2) Can I use 3 drive like Currently I have 2 drives -(1xSSD-:c)+(1xHDD).... so Can I add an extra M2.NVME ssd or do i have to remove the HDD and replace with the new ssd?(please keep in mind i dont want to mod my C: drive..) link to the ssd i want to buy
3)ram-- my ram is factory default so now my main model is- Sk-Hynix-2666mhz-sodimm so now i my question is i want to add another 16gb in the 2nd slot so do i have to match brand name like do i have to get another sk hynix 16gb ram or attach another brand to it but with same specs?

i need a bif of help on choosing ram i came across two brands called Crucial and Kingston.
so please tell me which one is best i dont care about price low or high ....i care about performance.....
1)kingston
2)crucial

so In total please check my upgrade recomendations....please check specs too in the links i provided

region:- Australia/NewZealand

currently installed devices:--
1)Micron_2200_MTFDHBA512TCK-disk-1-ssd
2)TOSHIBA MQ01ABD100-disk-2-hdd
3)Ram-SkHynix- HMA82GS6CJR8N-VK-16gb-2.6ghz-ddr4sdram-1x16.

    Hi,
Yes, you have 2 M.2 NVMe slots, so you can install another M.2 NVMe SSD in the second slot, as for the memory upgrade, you can use different brand RAM but with same specs as the original module, so your choice is correct and between Kingston and Crucial, I would suggest you buy the Kingston module from the link you provided.
    Buy the Kingston Memory 16GB RAM - DDR4 -2666MHz - CL19 - 1.2v - SODIMM,... ( KCP426SD8/16 ) online - PBTech.co.nz

You can have 2x M.2 PCIe NVMe's total and 1x total of a 2.5" spinner HDD or a 2.5" SSD SATA-3/6GB/sec type in the SATA slot. With the RAM you can have a max and total of 32GB into the 2x slots of either 2x 16GB DDR4-2400MHz or DDR4-2666MHz type RAM only. Don't put any higher speed/timing RAM e.g. DDR4-3200MHz as its not recommended by Acer and it won't work especially using the max 32GB RAM capacity.

Best for you is to match/add 1x 16GB DDR4-2666MHz of the exact speed/timing (which you can see in CPUz) and manufacturer of your existing OEM RAM of the 16GB SK Hynix Default RAM, get CPUz and look in its SPD section for the Part # of your OEM RAM and match that, if you can't get that exact RAM, then match it with preferably another SK Hynix same speed/timing 16GB RAM. Also, it doesn't have to be the same manufacturer but has to be the same speed/timing but its preferable as then both of your modules will be the same from the same manufacturer and it will match/work much better.
