Acer S7 - Keyboard occasionally not registering hits (L-Key)

This seems to be a problem that is reserved only for my 'L' Key.

Half the time when I type an 'L' it does not register that I pressed the key, leading to many typo's, the other half of the time it enters multiple L's.

I've solved the multiple L's using the software fix (zechofix), but does anybody have any advice for fixing the not-registering-a-hit problem? It's only on this key.

The laptop is approximately 1 month old, and I would rather not send it back for repair as it was originally delivered to America, but a friend brought it back over to Europe for me, and this might complicate things for me, or increase the cost of repair.

If it is only the 'L' key, you may wish to attempt to clean the area with air/dust remover.

It could be something stuck which would cause missed keys or multiple keys when pressed.

Thanks for the suggestion, the problem's gotten quite bad now, is there any disassembly guide available so that I can take a look at the keyboard properly?

I've since found that the problem is not just limited to the L key, and I'm still actually getting the repeated letters again now too, as well as the letters not registering.

We do not provide disassembly or service guides.

If it is affecting multiple keys, I would suggest contacting your local Acer service center for assistance.
