Tried opening it with a phillips screw driver, but it seems stuck

It's not stuck. It's threads are probably generously coated with blue loctite for your inconvenience. Heat the end of the phillips screw driver with a candle or briefly with a propane torch. Not red hot but enough to sizzle water. Then insert and hold the heated driver in the screw head slot for a few seconds to soften the loctite. Then try to unscrew it.

They really don't want you opening it. Thanks for this piece of info, did not know that earlier

Yeah, loctited screws are often used esp in machines with optical drives & big fans. To help prevent loose screws due to warped disc & blade vibes. Screw slots & anchor nuts can be damaged trying to get them out.

Hey can I use a soldering iron to heat the screw. Would it melt off? I have an older model so there's no temperature monitor on it

It'd be better and safer to use the soldering iron to heat the screwdriver end, not the screwhead You only want enough heat to soften the loctite on the screw's threads, not melt it. That way, the screw won't have a chance of to cool down before you start twisting it out.
