Troubles with my new Acer Spin 3 SP313-51N

Hey bois, I just received my Acer Spin 3 SP313-51N today.
There are pretty much 3 problems
1. There are micro freezes when I'm using the computer. Moving the mouse, closing windows are indicators. Sometimes the courser won't react for a few seconds and then just jumps to the intended position.

2. Usually I have a game running in the background/window mode. Doesn't need too many ressources either. Every now and then the process just gets killed. This goes along with one of those mini freezes. After that the screen turns black and comes back with all other applications opened up.

3. I've connected my monitor via USB-C/thunderbolt. I'm able to do this without any issues with my older Acer Switch 5 SW512-52. But while connected, the spin gives me popup notifications every 15 secods saying that the connected USB device doesn't work properly. I'm able to use the monitor properly tho.

According to windows updates the device is up to date.
Right now I am doing a factory reset, hoping that it'll fix the issues. I'm still hoping to get any advice from you guys.

Cheers!

Are you still running the antivirus that came pre-installed? That can be quite the resource hog, especially when first turned on.

Actually there's been some progress here.

I did remove the anti virus instantly.
The game crashing issue had smth to do with igdumdim32.dll.
I tried somehow managed to get an intel tool fixing that (driver issue).

I guess the courser issue has something to do with me using the Logitech MX Master in bluetooth mode. After 5 secs of inactivity it seems to go inta a energysaving mode. When I'm using the USB dongle theres no problem.
But for some reason there's no such issue with my other computers connecting the mouse by bluetooth. Might be a setting but I wasn't able to find anything yet.

The monitor is listed as Billboard 2.0 in the device manager. I wasn't able to fix that problem either. I tried installing the manufacturers driver but that didn't change anything.

Just for fun I've been trying to use my bluetooth headphones. No problems with them. Additionally there's no issues using the mouse via bluetooth while the headphones are connected and playing music. Therefore I assume it is indeed an issue with "bluetooth power saving"  whatsoever. Yet I wasn't able to figure out how to fix it.

There may be a power setting on the USB port that the Bluetooth card sits behind, but more likely it's on the mouse driver itself, or the driver doesn't have that implemented. Are you using a Logitech driver or just the generic driver?

I'm using the Logitech driver and the Logitech options software. On the Logitech forum some people suggested deleting the Logitech options software since it fixed it for them. Didn't do me any good tho.

    Hey,
reinstalling the graphic drivers did it for me. Maybe try doing that!

    Hi DarthKaze,

Reset this PC and keep my files
    1. Shutdown the unit. Press and hold alt+F10 key. Then turn ON the unit.
    2. You will get a blue screen. Choose the option troubleshoot.

    3. Select Keep my files to refresh your PC and reinstall your operating system without removing your personal files. Click Next to continue. Important If you have apps installed on your PC, they will be removed. Recovery - 25

    4. Resetting the PC will reinstall Windows, change settings back to their factory defaults and remove all preinstalled apps and programs without removing your personal files. Click Reset to continue.
    5. You will be shown the reset progress on the screen. The screen will turn off during the reset process.
    6. The screen will turn back on when it is installing Windows. Your PC will restart several times during the reset process.
    7. Follow the process until it completes.
    8. When your PC has completed the reset process, Windows will have been reset back to its factory default settings without removing your personal files.

@AnastasiaNine you should start your own thread. Use the Ask a Question button, include your full model number (usually on the same sticker as your SN), describe your problem and let us know what you have tried so far.
