For a few weeks now, my touchpad has been jittery, moving all over the screen with small movements, and sometimes I'd end up closing open tabs, or opening other apps. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the touchpad driver, but it didn't work, but it was at least manageable. Now this time last week, my touchpad driver was just gone, and I tried every online fix I could. My father is also in IT, so last week we troubleshooted for about an hour, and we fixed it by uninstalling the errored I2c HID Device and using device manager to scan for hardware changes. This time, its only been a week, its very similar but I'm unable to get the touchpad driver back at all, and uninstalling I2C is doing nothing. I believe last time I managed to get the driver back, and this was just the error blocking it, but now the driver is just gone, and I'm not sure how to get it back. I have tried installing the IO intel and the Touchpad ElanTech drivers from the website, but whether or not I'm even doing it right is up for debate. If anyone has any solutions, please let me know.
