Been trying to connect an Elgato 4K40 Pro both directly (albeit covering GPU fans) and also with a riser. The Elgato lights up, but is not recognised by the machine. Is this slot diabled because of the SSD?

Which Predator Orion 5000 do you have? there have been a number of them over the years. It should be something like PO5-xxx-xxxx and the number is usually on the same sticker as your serial number.

So I'm going to guess you mean an Elgato 4K60 Pro, since I don't anything about a 4K40... Both of the PCIe x16 slots should work for pretty much any device installed. I'm guessing you have your GPU in #22 here and you are trying to put the Elgato in #19?

Just an addition, the Elgato Game Capture 4K60 Pro has and needs to be put into slot #19 as billsey has illustrated on the PO5-640 mobo

    • HDMI 2.0 Input (Unencrypted)
    • HDMI 2.0 Output (Lag-free passthrough)
