my computer SF314-43 not seeing the wifi adapter

I've had my swift 3 for a few months now. Today I woke up to my computer not seeing the wifi adapter. The adapter is an mt7921. I have tried everything: doing the cmd winsock thing, resetting my network, downloading the driver and restarting the computer, turning wlan on auto, and there was definitely more. I restarted my computer sooooooo many times while doing that. There was a close win but not fully. I was told to view hidden devices, which I did, and lo and behold, there mt7921 was. The device was not colored the same way, it was faded. So I tried downloading the drivers for it which didn't work. I tried downloading the drivers manually too. In desperation I decided to uninstall the device and reinstall it. This made it even worse. Not only was the adapter gone from device manager it was also gon in advance network settings > hardware and connection properties. I tried contacting support, and I don't know if this is related, but neither my snid nor sn were workin, eeven though a few hours ago, I was able to get my drivers with the same sn. I retyped them many times. I have no idea what to do.

    What Swift 3 model do you have, as it should be SF3xx-xx? The usual thing to do with BT and Wi-Fi drivers if they worked before and they disengage is to take these steps and also this driver gets disengaged because of the bios that you should reset to "Default" first, then do the following and not change any other settings and complicate things, after do this:

    Right click on the start menu and go to Device Manager.

    Click (>) Network adapters >Properties>Driver>Update Driver>Browse my computer for drivers>Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer> then pick the last working driver that worked and then reboot

    As all the above will reinstate the working driver for your Wi-Fi/BT for your Swift 3.

    If that doesn’t work, then take these steps:

    Go to the Acer Drivers & Manuals for your Swift 3 and download the latest driver for the Wi-Fi device. and download. Go to the location where you saved the driver.

    Unzip the files.

    Access the folder and open the Setup file to start the installation.

    After uninstalling, restart the laptop.

    After the installation is complete, try to connect to the Wi-Fi network as it should reingage.

    The model is SF314-43. Yes, I've tried to reinstall the drivers, but the computer doesn't see an adapter for which to install a driver. When I press properties, this is all it gives me.

    You can try to do a reset to check if that makes any difference.



    NOTE: Make sure to backup all the data before the reset.

    What seems to be happening with issues like this is the underlying connection between the motherboard and WiFi (or Bluetooth, or camera, or fingerprint reader, or ...) gets in a state where it garbles the data. The system either can't see the device at all or sees it as an unknown piece of hardware. Sometimes it fixes itself with a simple reboot, sometimes you can reinstall the drivers for the USB host or hub, sometimes it's just fixed by magic. :)
