SOLVED: Got it sorted. Remembered what the old account was and removed the laptop. I would have just deleted this post but there doesn't seem to be an option to do that.

I registered my new laptop on the Acer website so I decided I may as well register my previous laptop as well but when I enter the SNID it says it's already registered. It was probably registered using an old Acer account I had and I'd like to transfer it to my current account if I can. I tried the link supplied for contacting Support but there's nowhere to just contact them and ask how to sort this. Can anyone help me with this, please?

I understand you would like to register for warranty.   If you are not able to register using a particular browser , try to use an alternative browser and check..

If your laptop is in warranty you can contact the warranty dept.   Go to the website support.acer.com - chose your country.  On the new page - scroll down - click on "contact support". Scroll down. You can find the phone no to contact the warranty dept.  They will help you to register the warranty.

Please visit the website - support.acer.com - chose your country - click on shop.  You can buy desktop, laptop, monitor and accessories. Alternatively, on the top right corner you can find the phone no to contact Acer store.  You can get more details about the warranty.

Click on "Like" if you find my answer useful

Click on "Yes" if it answers your question.

Please click YES if I answered your question

Surely this reply must be from a bot because it has absolutely nothing to do with my post. And, besides that, I've already said I got the issue sorted.

How rude! Kiwichick is a fellow member of this forum and you are out of order. Please apologise. Her post was relevant to registering a product.

Sorry but I do not think it was rude. It was merely a statement I made about an irrelevant response. And her post may have been relevant to registering a product but that isn't what I was asking about. It is infinitely frustrating to ask a question and get a totally unrelated answer. And as I said, I have already answered my own question so a reply wasn't particularly needed at all.

My mistake! I did not see that it was you posting, I thought someone was having a pop at you for being a bot.

And my mistake, too. I totally missed that you said "Kiwichick" is a fellow member. Both of us having an off day :-D
