Acer nitro 5 “No bootable device”

I’ll go through what I have done and checked so far

hard drive is being detected I have moved it around slots and it’s detected.

I do not have the legacy option

date and time are correct

windows seems to be corrupted I have bought a usb to download windows 11 to try and do something with that but no option for me to load it up in boot manager

not sure what else to do right now I have also reseated everything so not sure what to do now

    the “no bootable device” appeared after playing warzone then packing up and failing to shut down my laptop I put it in my bag then when I got home pulled it back out of my bag the computer was on a blue screen then I turned it off by accident somehow while it was on the blue screen now no bootable device

    You can try to BIOS reset.

    How do I reset my BIOS/UEFI to default settings?

    1. Press and hold the power button for 10 seconds, or until your system shuts completely down.
    2. Power on the system.
    3. Press F9 and then Enter to load the default configuration.
    4. Press F10 and then Enter to save and exit.

    If that doesn't work then you can try to do a reset to check if that makes any difference.



    Check the above link to do a reset.


    NOTE: Make sure to backup all the data before the reset.
