My model Predator PO9-600 is not affected by the Intel® Management Engine (ME) security vulnerability according to this page on the Acer site:


.... but when I run the CSME Version Detection Tool from Intel, it says that my system IS vulnerable:

    Which BIOS version do you have? There have been a couple of updates since the system was released...

    I am on the latest BIOS version. Something else I noticed is that the firmware version is not in the BIOS. Is that right? The check tool says I have firmware version 11.8.55.3510.
