Hi, My system runs a little hot and I need user fan control,

  • Hi, good afternoon.

    Have you tried with Hwinfo64?

If the notebook is overheating then the ideal is to do an internal cleaning, also change the thermal paste.

Hi, I did a full clean of my laptop a week ago, and re applied thermal paste

here are the devices Hwinfo64 detects, what would possibly be the fan controller?

Before getting deeper into it... How hot is it running? What are the resting temperatures and what are the working temperatures?

    edited October 2022

i sit around 53 degrees on idle, I edit 4k video sometimes and it sits around 65 and the ambient temps are pretty low in my household, the fan ramps up a little but not enough, if i could edit the fan curve it would be nice

Those numbers already look very good. Don't worry unless they are more in the 85-95 range. I run 50-70 when idle and 70-85 when gaming, and that matches what the fan curve calls for.
