SSD installation on my Aspire GX781

Need to get more storage on my Aspire GX781 desktop, Im going to get the Crucial P5 Plus SSD, i was just wondering if i can install it from the front of the motherboard as i dont want to take it out becuase i have very little hardware knowledge.

    Yes you can, just take the side cover off and install the M.2 SSD that way,

    I'll suggest searching Youtube videos for your GX781 there. If you still find yourself uncomfortable replacing the NVMe SSD with a higher capacity one ( actually you may need an USB external NVMe SSD adapter and cloning software too) and if you are after data space only, you can just buy an external USB HDD for the additional data.

    WD My Passport Ultra seemed to be a good choice ( can use both type-C and type-A ports) . I have a 5TB version and happy about it.

    It's easier to reach if you remove that drive tray, but you can do it without as Steven shows.
