Could you tell me the part number for the palmrest and keyboard assembly of an A515-54G please?

Hello, I am the owner of a A515-54G-72B6 (NX.HVEEB.001), it's got a Spanish (Spain) keyboard that is retroilluminated, but something happened, I'm not quite sure because there were never any liquids near it and some keys now input not only themselves but also some other key.

For example, if I press 'z' I get 'ºz' which are not even in the vicinity physically speaking. The top QWERTY line works more or less, but some also input adjacent numbers near those keys besides the one I press. The Enter key doesn't seem to be working as such, but I have yet to figure out what it is it does now :(.

From what I could see, I think the keyboard is riveted to the palmrest so I'd need to replace them all, and I'd like to know which is the part number, or part numbers so I could contact Acer Support Spain and ask for the specific ones. I would be able to replace them myself, since the laptop is now out of the standard warranty period the cost of it being done at the tech support would be unapproachable for me at the moment.

Thank you very much for your time and answers, I hope to have a resolution soon, right now my only recourse is to use an external keyboard, but that takes away the portability of it all.

Hi! Maybe you should try updating the bios first. Version 1.05 mentions some keyboard fix. I would first try to update the bios to latest and see if it solves the problem. This video is in Portuguese. But you should perform a similar procedure when changing the keyboard:

Hi @egydiocoelho , thank you very much for your assistance, I did check back on it, but I didn't reply to you in a timely manner, so I apologize for that.

Unfortunately, I had already tried to flash the last version of the firmware for the laptop (I assume there is not going to be more), but it hadn't helped, whatever it is has to do with the wiring of keys, or some component in the keyboard control board misbehaving; but yes, I was told by support that because the keyboard on this model is "riveted" using melted plastic or something I would need to replace the entire palmrest assembly.

The good news is that I told them the part number I needed, 6B.HDGN7.048 (mine is a silver unit) and even though they said they didn't have it anymore the support agent told me they could order it for me to be built and sent to my address if I agree to the price, which I certainly do otherwise there's nothing else to try. So, it's moving forward!! I have already paid and I'm waiting for it to arrive, I was told 1-4 weeks.

PS. When transplanting everything from one to the other I would also need to transplant the trackpad, which from what I could see is attached by 3 screws and has some... grounding strips? over the top part. It should be easy: disconnect the flex cable, peel the sticky tape, unscrew, take it out and repeat the operation backwards.

In case I break it for some reason, because it seems to be the most delicate of the things to transplant, the rest is just screwed, do you know the part number for it as well? I hope I don't need it, but just in case... Mine doesn't have a fingerprint ready, it would be nice because some models seem to have it, but mine is a plain one.
