    Hi,

It's an added feature from Windows Security, it's better to turn on for better security but if you have third party drivers installed, you may not be able to turn it on.

To expand on that a little, Core Isolation make it so other tasks can't easily break into the actual Windows processes in order to do malicious things. It is in response to a few of the newer viruses that can get in to bypass normal Windows processes. It's best to turn it on in order to be safe from those newest virus variants.

I have a TravelMate Spin B311R-32 with Windows 11 and have the same concern, Windows Security is recommending enable Core Isolation protection. I can't do it. Windows Help stated that Hardware Virtualization in Bios needed to be enabled. I could not find the setting if any exists. What is next? Should I just ignore it?

@bluepen61 you should start your own thread with your question. Include your full model number and what error message is displayed when you attempt to start Core isolation. Core Isolation is started or stopped in Windows Security; Device Security; Core Isolation.
