I use the Steam platform to play games and whenever i play monster hunter i get a message that says

"Your Radeon graphics driver is out of date. For Monster Hunter World we recommend following version 20.2.2 or later. Visit the AMD website to download the latest drivers."

The problem is i tried going to the AMD website and I can't find my specific driver's name to download it and when I try to use the auto find tool, I get a (error 182).

So i did some research and found out that in order for the auto find to work i need to disable the integrated graphics? I have an Acer Aspire A715 - 73G and im using Windows 11.

My radeon driver says "Radeon™ RX Vega M GL Graphics with 4GB HBM2 Graphics Memory"

But the only two vega serios drivers on the amd website are "Radeon™ Rx Vega 56 & 64". Please help, i feel like i may be over complicating things.

    Let us make it simple.

    Try windows x

    go to device manager

    expand display adapter

right click on display driver - click on update - chose the first option - search drivers automatically - It should install the latest drivers

    It should work fine..

If it says best driver are already installed...

right click on display driver - click on update - chose the 2nd option - browse my computer for driver software - chose let me pick

it will show the list of drivers - chose the latest one.. click on next and install it. Otherwise install it one by one and check

Click on the first driver - next - install - It will install the driver - click on close

    Restart the computer

    It should work fine.

If it is still not working

Uninstall the display adapter from device manager

    Dont restart the computer.

    Go to support.acer.com

    chose your country

type snid or chose your model

    go to drivers

    Install the display driver

Kindly check the details from link given below. Try to use the auto detect tool. Try to install the latest driver from amd website.

If it is still not working try to check with the game vendor.

AMD is no longer doing new drivers for the Vega M GL GPUs. The latest Acer shows is version 25.20.15006.9. What are you running now?

So none of that worked. I also wrote customer support for acer and told them im having trouble updating the Radeon driver that my Acer came with and i was told

"Thank you for contacting the Acer Store. Unfortunately, we do not carry the part for your computer. However, this doesn't necessarily mean that the part is no longer available. You may wish to try contacting our Parts Partners."

Its weird because in my device manager it says radeon driver version is 25.20.15006.9.

But in the radeon program on my computer it says is its version 18.50.06 of the Adrenaline edition. I tried downloading it from the AMD website again for the 64xbit version and it still gave me the error 182. Some more research tells me i have an embedded version? i tried to find exactly which version embedded i have if so and i dont see it on the list. Which brings me back to the email i received from acer support. Do i need a whole new type of driver? im so lost now

Ahhh see i figured it might be something like that going on. If thats the case and since my radeon is still showing an old version and AMD is no longer doing new drivers. Do i need to switch to a completely new driver?
