Overheating on WoW Predator Helios 300 PH315-52

Hi everyone! Hope you going well.

I have the Predator Helios 300 PH315-52 (i7-9750H)

I have trouble with my CPU about overheating since few months, I don't know really what happend. I already replace thermal past and thermal pad too. ATM I play on WoW and I must lock the FPS at 60 because of overheating and even at 60 my CPU temp is about 85°C in game. So my last solution is overcloaking but I really don't know this pratice and I'm afraid to make a mistake and lost my laptop so if anyone here with the same laptop and did an overcloaking to downgrade the CPU, please tell me and help me :)

Ok so I make an update!

I go in power supply and I just put at 99%, I lost 20°C on WoW!!! Why it works? I don't know but trouble fix for me :)

I recommend using HWMonitor as it shows the peak temperature that the cpu and gpu hits but you can use other logging programs too

ALSO to add to this, depending on the laptop and its settings, some fan profiles are more aggressive than others, some fan setting curves allow the cpu and gpu to get a bit hotter while idle or doing moderate tasks so that theres less fan noise overall
