Model info:

As you can see on the screen, when the computer is idle, its always above 70°C, nothing is going on in the background, the fans are constantly around 5k rpm. When under heavy load, like gaming, the temperature goes always above 90°C and it starts to throttle, so the gaming experience is really garbage. We are talking games like League of Legends, Fortnite, Counter-Strike. All on lowest settings possible, just to get to 100FPS, but that doesnt really matter when stutter starts to occur really fast after I launch the game.

The balance mode used to work really well for me, keeping the temperatures aroung 40°C, I dont know what happened, nowadays It doesnt help that much at all. Power saver ironically boosts up the temperature even more.

Any tips on what might be wrong?

Hmm.. i think it may be related to thermal pasting of your laptop.

But before that, try to check the temps with other apps such as HWinfo or so.

Hae you tried restarting? also, any background app consuming your intel GPU or Ram?

Check for dust stuck in your fans. if they seem dirty, you may need to clean them.

It was indeed the dust in the vents. The temps went down 40 degrees. Thing is, I couldnt actually see any dust in the vents from the outside, but when I opened the laptop it has clearly clogged the vents.
