From Ao.com I have purchased an Acer Nitro 5 (AN515-54) with Geforce GTX 1650 4GB graphics and 9th gen intel core i5-9300 H quad core processor and 8 GB of DDR4  RAM, and 1TB Hard drive. Anyone got a good experience with this gaming laptop and is it worth upgrading anything on it?

From my experience SSD is must have... You have 2 m2 slots for NVME ssd. Extra 8 GB of DDR4 RAM is good investment also. I am very satisfied with my Acer Nitro 5,( same CPU and graphic card as yours... but i have 16 gb ram and 512 gb ssd). I had only little CPU temperature issue but it is resolved with new thermal paste on CPU.

in my opinion its a very good gaming laptop for a budget, it runs all i need it to with no problems. i myself have 2 2tb seagate firecuda ssd's, a seagate barracuda 4 tb hdd, and 16 gb of ram so my games boot very quick and so does windows. im also going to repaste it which i highly recommend, and if you do use thermal grizzly its a very good thermal compound.
