Hello. Recently I realized my notebook started to use a power set of 45W on PL1 and 56W on PL2. I understand this is the standart Intel specs for this processor, but this only happened when I ran the notebook on single channel, after I upgraded it (long time ago) the power set became 70W on PL1 and 107W on PL2. Now it has turned back to 45/56W even tough i'm still using a dual channel setup. When I check on different softwares like HWinfo, Throttlestop or Intel XTU the power set seems to be 70/107W but it's clearly not following this as the notebook throttles at 56W when under a stress test. Tried reseting BIOS settings, reinstalling Predator Sense, different ThrottleStop version, even installed XTU to check it out but the problem insists. Any thoughts?

SNID: XXXX

Running Windows 11 build 22621.382 (Release Preview)

32gb of ram (bought another original ram from someone else)

Turbo mode on Predator Sense doesn't change anything on power, just kick the fans in max speed

Sorry, despite the Microsoft hype and flashing update billboard that your model is ready for the Win11 upgrade, you'll have to wait like the rest of us for Acer OEM Win11 updates to appear at this link. None of us here on the Acer users forum can tell you when they will appear. If it was mine, I'd rollback to my old Win10 setup if possible just before I hit the Win11 upgrade button.

Hello. Just to record what happened. First of all I did a clean installation of Windows 11 (normal version), installed the OEM drivers and the problem continued. After that I tried what you said and did a clean installation of Windows 10, installed the OEM drivers and the problem continued too. So I decided to went back to Windows 11 but this time I left the Windows completely without internet during the installation process AND blocked the updates using WuMgr. Then I installed the OEM, Nvidia and Intel drivers. Now the set of power is 70W for PL1 and 107 for PL2 (I have the RTX 2070 Max-Q model) and everything is working as it should be. I believe this role problem was due to a random update of the Intel drivers via Windows Update (those 2018 drivers that keep popping up). Any way I'd like to thank you @JackE for your support.
