My wifi is no longer working on my aspire V3-575. It works intermittently..it will connect sometimes and sometimes not. So, I have the ethernet cord connected and I have a perfect connection. This laptop is seven years old and has been the best laptop I've had, and would like to keep it going a little longer. Has anyone encountered this and how did you fix it? I was going to try updating the driver, but there are three options for driver installation and I don't know which one to choose.

Wireless LAN Driver

Wireless LAN Driver (NFA222)

Wireless LAN Driver (NFA344)

Intermittent behavior suggests the wifi card and antenna connectors probably needs to be re-seated to help clean the contacts. Usually happens during warm and humid conditions. An easy job but one screw and DVD drive first needs to be removed. Then the bottom screws removed and cover pried off. Disconnect the battery pack wires from the mainboard and remove battery. Pull antenna wires off by pulling on the connectors not the wires. Then remove wifi card hold-down screw. Card will pop up at an angle. Pull card.out. Gently rub it's gold contacts with a soft cloth lightly moistened with rubbing alcohol to help clean corrosion and possible oils. Then reinsert the card in the socket at an angle and push it down flat. Do this a few times to also help clean the wire contact inside socket. Then use the hold down screw to secure the card. Re-seat the antenna connects a few times. Then button it back up. You probably won't need to change the Lan drivers but all 3 can be tried till you find the one that installs and works if needed.

Open device manager, click on "Network adapters" and post a screenshot from that.
