My CPU overheats, reaching 100C and crashes after 30 minutes of watching a movie. I thought I can open it and clean the fan(Never cleaned for 6-7 years) and possibly re-apply thermal paste.

I watched tutorial how to open it, but everyone else opens their aspire laptop without any cables like this obstructing them and gain immediate access.

I provided pics, can you please tell me what exactly are these cables and should I attempt to remove myself or not and how? Thanks.

Simply google search keywords E5-575G & disassembly. There are many video regarding cleaning & disassembling this old laptop and E5-57x series that are closely related to it. Here is the flowsheet and order of disassembly for each section.

It might help if you could reveal your full Acer laptop model series number. For example, E5-575G?

Aspire E5-572G-39K0, I actually found this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JbPIzqNKsHM

But I'd still appreciate any further advise on remove or putting them back on. Thanks.
