My Acer Aspire A717-72G-76V1 will only charge when the laptop is turned off. I can go up to 100% no issues with it turned off. However: if the laptop is turned on and I plug it in he charger, the power flickers a few times and then the blue and orange charge lights begin to blink. No idea what to think about this.

I have updated all drivers. I have reseated the battery.

I have included the battery report.

    Figure it out.

It seemed like there was more charge being pulled than the pack could handle. I was right. It is an acer charger but it seemed small to me. I looked around and found another beefier acer charger that looked more familiar to me (I haven't used my laptop in a year).

That was the fix: using the correct charger size to handle the power pull. Smh, the simple things.

Yes, thanks for reporting back. Your battery looks OK. But whatever power loads you were tryng to do were too much for the charger to keep up. Maybe too many games, apps and browser pages open all at the same time. If you continue to do this, it's best to start with a fully charged battery and plugged in BEFORE you start heavy loads.
