My laptop, which is several years old, was facing the user profile cannot be loaded after trying to sign in to my account. I looked up various guides, however I found it difficult to fix as when I load safe mode, the screen is completely white with flickers of the task bars so I cannot change the files in it. The only thing that did work was safe mode with command prompt however that failed to fix the "user profile cannot be loaded" issue. After rebooting my laptop several times the laptop was stuck on the acer logo with no wheel and I can't do automatic repairs. The only action that I can do is alt +f10 which takes me to the screen displaying my options.

SOLVED - 100 new pc build gives 0xc0000001 error Toms Hardware Forum

The only working option from here is Esc - both F8 and enter just cause the screen to flash black once, briefly. Is it possible to fix this issues without using a usb boot stick or sending it to repairs. I want to hear some solutions on the 2 issues here. Thank you in advance

    What laptop are you using, give us the exact model number? As and if in safe mode you are getting "white with flickers" its the graphics or a drivers issues, this BSOD is caused mainly by these issues:
    • Perform Startup Repair
    • Uninstall Problematic Software in Safe Mode
    • Use Command Prompt
    • Run System Restore
    • Reset your PC
    • Reinstall Windows 10
    I suggest you create a Windows 10 disk from another computer that has a similar bios and try to recover your system:

    1. Download the tool according to the Windows 10 architecture installed here:
    https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=691209;
    2. Run the downloaded setup and click Create installation media for another computer;
    3. Select the Language, then select the edition and architecture according to the installed Windows 10;
    4. Connect the Pen Drive;
    5. Click Next;
    6. Select the USB Flash Drive option and click Next.
    7. Click Finish.
    8. Boot with the Pen Drive;
    9. When the installation window appears, click Repair your computer.
    10. Click Troubleshooting> Advanced Options;

    Among the options presented, follow the procedures below:

    Restore the System to an earlier date:
    Click Troubleshooting> Advanced Options> System Restore, choose a date and proceed with the restoration steps.

    Fix startup errors:
    Click Troubleshooting> Advanced Options> Startup Repair.

    Going back to the previous version:
    Click Troubleshooting> Advanced Options> Back to previous version. (This option will be available within 10 days of updating).

    Access the System in Safe Mode (Diagnostic Mode):
    Click Troubleshooting> Advanced Options> Startup Settings> click Restart> press the 5 or F5 key to access Safe Mode with Networking.

    Redoing the Windows 10 startup files:
    Click on Troubleshooting> Advanced Options> Command Prompt> enter your Account and enter the commands:
    CHKDSK /f /r /b [Enter]
    Bootrec /Scanos [Enter]
    Bootrec /Rebuildbcd [Enter]
    Bootrec /Fixmbr [Enter]
    Bootrec /Fixboot [Enter]
    • Restore the System while maintaining files: Click Troubleshooting> Restore your PC> Maintain my files.
    • Restore the System by deleting everything: Troubleshooting> Restore your PC> Remove Everything.

    Yes, we really need to know which laptop you have, there have been so many different ones over the years. What size and type of drive is in it? On an older laptop that originally came with an eMMC SSD soldered to the motherboard it wouldn't be unusual for the drive to be at the end of it's life and failing. The symptoms you describe could easily be caused by a failing or failed drive...

    OK, your Toshiba MQ01ABD100 is a spinning type HDD. If you look at the sticker on your computer you should be able to read the full model number (ES1-533-xxxx) which can give more detailed specs than just the model series (ES1-533). Since you have a HDD installed we can probably assume your version didn't also have an eMMC drive installed. They typically didn't do systems with both a small eMMC and a larger HDD...

    You obviously have corrupted files in Windows, specifically in the profile settings and likely elsewhere in the OS as well. Do you have data on the system that really needs to be backed up before taking additional steps to try and recover? If so now is the time to try and pull anything like that off. If there's nothing that critical then the next step I would go with is a clean install of the OS, replacing the existing stuff on the drive with a new, fresh install. If you are still having issues like this afterwards then we can ssume the drive itself is failing and needs to be replaced. If everything works fine after a clean install then the issue is solved. :)
