I have acer aspire 7 laptop and I facing this problem since I got my motherboard replaced ( I had got my motherboard replaced twice due to black screen of death) when I informed this issue to acer service center they they just change REALTEK audio driver to microsoft high definition audio driver but know I getting random popping sound. I had upgrade all my drivers form acer driver support and also AMD and NVIDIA graphic drivers but it had not solved my problem the problem is same in both Windows 10 and 11.
Then I run latencyMon and the latency are way high the whole bars are red. Then on searching about this issue on internet I found one solution it is to set power management mode to high performance in nvidia control panel and this has reduce my latency but not much I still getting cracking and popping sounds. So please help me regarding this.

The BIOS version number is most important. Not the dates. They be different on the download page from the date when the BIOS firmware was actually installed by the service center or factory who usually don't use the download page.

As for the random shutdown, if the bottom cover is loose or misaligned with the top cover, there is a safety switch on the mainboard that can suddenly cut all power to protect the circuits. When you ask the service center for a Win10 factory recovery USB, I think you should also tell them about this random shutdown problem.

OK. In the Windows start menu, search 'acer true' Is the True Harmony audio app installed on your laptop?

Are you running Win10 or Win11? Acer OEM Win11 updates are not yet available for your machine.

I having this problem with my both laptop speakers and also with separate external speakers . The headphones are working completely fine.

    1. On using Realtek driver it cause :- cracking or buzzing sound randomly or when try to open task manager or any other heavy application.

    and

    2. On Microsoft High Definition driver it causes :- Random popping sounds in both speakers and headphones (which is very painful)
(I had tried every thing from disabling enhancements to updating drivers)

    >>>But I had already tried to downgrade in Win10>>>

Did you use the  Acer OEM original factory Win10 version in the hidden boot drive reset partition, or the generic Win10 version from Microsoft? They are not the same.

Shut the laptop off. Turn it back on and immediately press and hold the ALT key while tapping the F10. If the hidden factory reset partition is still accessbile and uncorrputed, an Acer factory recovery menu should appear to allow you to do a partial factory reset while trying to save your personal data or an erase everythng clean factory reset which is best.

Yes. That's it. Cick on reset this PC. The best option is a remove or erase everything reset. This is a clean factory re-install. This will reinstall the factory Windows version just as it came out of the box when you first got the machine.

And it is showing me option for
    1. Cloud installation of windows and
    2. reinstall from this device
    Which option should I choose?

    Update
    So I selected 2 option,
And after complete reset I am back in windows 11
    So it doesn't work

    >>>I had got my motherboard replaced twice >>>

Sorry, looks like they also wiped the factory OEM Win10 from the hidden partition on your boot drive. Who did this work?   If an authorized Acer service center, they should be able to get the original factory OEM Win10 version on a USB drive for you. It may take some time for them to get the USB installation drive but they should be able to get it.

    From authorised acer service centre
Yes look like I have to contact them,
I check that 1GB recovery partition it show 100% free
For now I have reinstalled Win 10 but this time I have done it by bootable drive and cleaned all drivers, finger crossed
I will update you after installation all drivers.

Here one more issue which I was facing is random shutdown. The laptop get power off without any information in display and then it occur again while booting in windows. So do you have any idea regarding this. It mostly happens while downloading new windows or if windows is running any installation process at background then I have to do re download or installation due to this.

On acer support they told me to reinstall windows 10 by your own.

So looks like the sound as gone no cracking or popping sound till now after this installation.

But latencymon is still showing peak latency

Okay all thing aside finally one major has been solved.

    Thanks for your support.
