    I actually have the newer/higher model with an i5 processor, for which no online reviews are available yet, but it helps. Am a bit surprised by the negative reviews of battery life ... not the case for me (so far). Thanks anyway!

    Battery life is wildly variable due to wildly variable user habits. Advertised battery life is optimistically unrealistic often achieved with 50% or less screen brightness, idling CPU/GPU & looking at a dimmed desktop not doing useful tasks. .  :)

    Agree.

    Probably also depends on your battery charging habits/routines. Anyway, so far I'm happy with this model.
