I would also advise you to check if the ssd and hdd are showing up in the bios info tab. Can you send a picture of the bios info tab?

What is the exact model name? Example A315-56-33VX.
You may receive the error "No Bootable Device" if your computer does not detect a hard drive, solid state drive, or other bootable drive to load the operating system. This can sometimes be caused by a change to settings in your BIOS or UEFI. Use the following steps to resolve this situation:
    1. Hold the power-button for 5 seconds to power off the device.
    2. Power on the system. As soon as the first logo screen appears, immediately press the F2 key, or the DEL key if you have a desktop, to enter the BIOS.
    3. Press F9 and then ENTER to load the default configuration. Press F10 to save your changes, and restart the system. Select Yes and press ENTER to confirm.

    Try to reset the battery.
Power off the machine and disconnect everything from the machine. Check whether there is a small pinhole on the underside of the machine. Not all models have a pinhole. If pinhole is present, press into the hole for 5 s with a bent paper clip without a sheath. Then press the on/off switch continuously for 20 s and ignore intermittent restarts of the machine. If pinhole is not present, press the on/off switch continuously for 20 s and ignore intermittent restarts of the machine. Release the button and wait for 15-30 minutes. Reconnect the laptop to the power supply and wait for the full battery indication (blue) light. Then turn it on normally.

When i release the on/off button should i then switch the laptop off and wait 15-30 min before i can reconnect to the power supply?

Did you reset the BIOS as I described? I don't know why your SSD is listed under HDD1 and not under HDD0, but that should not be a mistake.

Yes i did everything at you said
-switched off the laptop for 30min
-charged the laptop till the orange light turned blue
Then turned it on like normal but it went straight to no bootable device

    About the HDD0 i don't know

I suspect that either your SSD is broken or a cable has come loose.
You have mistakenly marked the thread as solved. But it is not solved yet.

When you are logged in the community, you will find the question "Did this answer your question?" after each post in your thread.
Try this: Go to the answer from egydiocoelho, go right to the question "Did this answer your question? Yes - No" and click "No". Then the info "solved" should be gone. Maybe another member could help you then. Another idea is: if you have a computer store nearby, take your machine there and have it checked.
Edit: If you can't delete the "solved" marker, send a PM to @Acer-Ingrid.

  • This model only comes with a 1tb hard drive. Try disconnecting the lithium battery first and then the hard drive:

Then connect the hard drive and then the battery. It could just be a bad connection. I also advise installing an nvme ssd.
