Hello Acer.
Please, can you provide to our Acer Aspire 5 A517-52G a firmware w/ 16-bit PCI segment size.
I am asking this because Xen hypervisor is not compatible with that hardware. After deep digging into the problem, we got Xen boot doing a nvme call to a wider than 16bit segment number. This is not compatible with Xen.
This was discussed on Xen-devel and Xen-users the last couple of weeks with extensive log sharing. You can dig into it from stack exchange into Xen-devel and Xen-users…. But maybe Xen-users have more info, or I am happy to provide more info if needed be.
Please provide this firmware update for us!
