I am having Acer aspire A715-75g gaming laptop.
I have been played games from the day i have bought it my temp were always around 65-70 celsius while gaming. Recently increased the ram from 8gb to 16 gb. The pre-installed one was Kingston 8gb 1Rx16 3200 CL 19 and new one was adata 8gb 8gx8 3200 CL 22. After this upgrade my laptop temperature shoots up to 80+ celsius and switch off once. Did many Google search but nothing related to this was there. I tried gaming by removing the charger cable then it was working fine with temperature under 60 celsius.
But when plugged in the temperature spikes to 75 then 80 and keeps on increasing. I recently removed the extra added ram then played games with charger connected i was getting the 60-70 celsius. What might be the reason? Should I change anything in BIOS. I have updated all software updates from Acer as well as nvidia. Anyone facing similar issues. what should I do?

I even installed the new ram only and played Red dead redemption 2 even then with single ram the temperature is around 65-70 celsius.

    Hi @ michaeldavid33

    • Turn off your laptop, unplug the cords, and remove the battery (if possible). ...
    • Inspect the vents and fan for dirt or other signs of blockage. ...
    • Use compressed air to clean your laptop's vents. ...
    • Change your system's fan control settings.

after one month posting this topic my laptop suddenly stopped working didn't switch on after i has put it to sleep mode then after on site verification from acer i was told the motherboard is faulty and was asked to change it luckily i still had one day left with my warranty and had it replaced and it was working fine but still after the motherboard replacement the temperature spikes were there for which acer tech team told it is normal but i couldn't accept it so i stopped gaming with this laptop and within a month after motherboard replacement laptop stopped working again. I took it to acer service where i was told the keyboard has stopped working i literally don't know how this happened as i am always using external keyboard. For this replacement i has to pay. Hope nothing happens after this.
