I have an sp513-51, and the other day the touch screen stopped responding. the driver is installed, I disabled and enabled it, and did a system reset, but it still does not work. it does not respond to touch or pen calibration, and the about says "Pen and touch support with 10 touch points" I use the touch screen for drawing, so I hope to fix it.

The touchscreen sits behind an internal USB port so the system treats it the same as it would if it were external and plugged into a port. Sometimes the system gets into a state where those internal ports act up, either deciding to not work at all or giving garbled data. Open Device Manager and check for any errors. Sometimes they will show an an unknown device, sometimes as a missing USB hub or controller...

I assume by that that when you opened Device Manager it didn't flag anything with an error or warning? It usually expands the section where it shows an issue... Is the touch screen showing as grayed out?

Hi @ CosmiCandy
If your touchscreen isn't responsive or not working how you would expect, try restarting your PC. If you're still having problems, check for updates: Select Start , then select Settings . In Settings, select Update & security , then WindowsUpdate , and then select the Check for updates button.
