Check voltage output of charger plug between center hole and outer barrel with a multimeter. Should be at least 19volts DC. If not, make sure cables are not broken and plugged firmly into AC mains outlet

  • Try resetting the battery: turn off the computer, unplug the power adapter, press the power button for thirty seconds and leave the computer off for half an hour.

Don't try to turn the laptop back on after the reset until the battery charge LED is steady blue. May take several hours.

Yes but i have waited several hours after resetting. But there is no indication of any sort ( orange / blue ) should i leave it plugged for hours after reset ?

Yes. Give it 24 hrs to see if charge LED lights up or at least starts blinking. I suspect the battery somehow drained below the critical charge level. Perhaps not completely shut off or in sleep mode or possibly just the lid was closed without being set to sleep mode. Quite often the battery can't be recovered when this happens.

    Hi @ Ck007
Nothing will happen. The thing that can happen is that it can drain your battery, so next time before using it you have to charge it. If battery discharges the date and time setting will be disturbed. SO you have to update date and time settings to use internet in your laptop.
If the laptop has a removable battery, take the battery off, unplug the machine and hold the power button down for 30 seconds. Then reinsert the battery and power cord and try if it turns on. This often clears a totally unresponsive laptop.
