Acer SF315-52 - unable to see UHD Graphics card, and how to reload Graphics driver

I had a registry corruption and had to fall back to a basic ISO installation of Windows 10 Home that I managed to download from the Microsoaft site to reinstall Windows on my machine. It installed an MS basic display adapter and doesn't recognise that I have an Intel UHD Graphics 620 card. I need to upgrade the display adapter driver so I can also attach a second and larger monitor (used successfully pre-crash).

I can download the .zip file of the Intel VGA Driver, but can't see how to:

(a) get the system to recognise the UHD card (not listed in Device Manager)

(b) load the driver from the .zip file once the UHD card is recognised.

Can anyone help?

Extract the zip file to your drive. Fire up Device Manager and uninstall the Basic Video Adapter device. Do not reboot... Navigate to the folder that contains the drivers and double click on the setup.bat file, or alternately run a command prompt in Administrator mode, CD to the folder and type .\setup.bat<return> and watch the status as it installs. Likely after the drive has been installed it will ask you to reboot, and it's OK this time.

Tried that and it didn't work after re-booting (no request made by system). Device Manager still showed basic display adapter driver. So I asked to update the driver for the basic display adapter, giving the location of the extracted files. Worked perfectly and the Intel driver is now installed and I can use my second monitor.
