Can I update my Acer Swift 1 SF114-33 to a BIOS newer than 1.05?

Yes, I still have that Pop!_OS BIOS issue, but maybe if I upgrade to a newer version it'll get fixed. I just wanna ask if I can update to a newer version than 1.05? (the latest one on the SF114-33 drivers page)

    I took the risk, and sadly it didnt work, but at least it didnt brick my bios. It only gave me a small error thats it.

    The issue isn't with the BIOS per se, it's with the boot manager. Pop!_OS uses systemd-boot, with settings that disable the time to wait for a BIOS key press.
    You have to edit the EFI tables to change back to Windows Boot Manager or reinstall Windows from scratch.

    Yeah, we get a fair number of people who install Pop!_OS, then find it does a real good job of disabling access that a user might actually want. I't best used in situations when you don't want to end user to be able to do much other than normal usage, such as for a child.
