Quiet long beeps when i disconnect the battery on the SF114-33

In an iFixit guide, it told me to disconnect the battery and press the power button for 30 seconds, but when i disconnect the battery, it does these, ling, quiet beep sounds. And that's terrifying, especially when working with a lithium Li-ion battery!

I plugged the battery back in, and disconnected it again, and then nothing happened

Normally you have the system fully turned off and the charge unplugged before you try to disconnect the battery. If you try to do it "hot" you can cause real damage.
