Is there a DVD burner/drive compatible with chromebook?

Hello. I used to have a Windows PC with a DVD burner and burned some mpeg video files into discs. Dont have the Windows PC anymore and have only a chromebook. Did some research more than a year ago and didnt find a DVD burner/drive that is compatible with my chromebook. Discs are just collecting dusts. Just wondering if things have changed. Or if anyone has any suggestions. Thanks

    I don't believe ChromeOS has the facility to burn discs on an external drive. You can read data like mp4 from an external drive, but now write. You also can't view videos or listen to music direct from disk, they need to be in computer format instead.
