Hello.
Today my Laptop acer aspire 5 a515-51g crashed multiple times. It started with "Windows was not loaded correct, restart necessary". After 3 restarts it worked for like 2 minutes before crashing again. This time though pressing power didn't do anything and the screen is now black all the time. Furthermore he is trying to boot without pressing anything and you can hear the ventilator starting for a split second before stopping and the blue light on the side goes out. Then he repeats doing it forever. Pressing any button seems to do nothing as well...

I reset the laptop with the button at the back, I removed the battery multiple times and I reset the BIOS without any effect.

Does someone know what is wrong with my Laptop? Is something up with the motherboard?

(Thread was edited to add model name to the title)

Take the ram and hard drive out for 5 min, check them if there are any sediments or corrosion on their pins and plugs and/or if there are any burn or marks on the mobo? Clean their pins/plugs anyway with a circuitry cleaner and refit these components and see if the laptop boots and stays on. Otherwise it could be that your laptop has a major drivers issues within the OS that is causing this (so reset OS) if that is not the case, then this laptop has some sort of  circuitry/components power problems internally at its primary and/or secondary 3V or 5V boards and components on the mobo, so get this laptop checked out by an experience tech that has experience and can fix these problems.

Did you remove the charger and press the button for at least a minute?

    (1) Yes, I removed the charger and pressed the power button for a minute. The laptop seems to don't react to the power button at all.
    (2) I had to open the back cover and removed the cable that connects from the battery to the motherboard. I again pressed the power button for 1 min, put the cable back in and tried to start w/o the charger cable attached and the laptop won't turn on. Then I diconnected the battery again, left in unplugged and put the charger cable back in and the laptop won't start.
    (3) Some guy on the internet said that I had to remove the cmos battery by unplugging it from the motherboard and leave it out for 30 mins.

When it repeats forever, what happens when you press and hold the power button for 10 seconds?

    Nothing happened.
But, I took out the RAM again and unplugged the battery just like I did yesterday and now my laptop is working again so... Thanks for the help :)
