Hi all, I would like to purchase a laptop with built-in Gigabit Ethernet port, minimum i5 processor and 16GB RAM. For storage, preferably SSD or a hybrid type with both SSD for Windows and HDD for storage if possible. Most importantly I want to know if it has the built-in Gigabit Ethernet port as there are some with only 10/100 Base-T (slower). Gigabit operates on 1000Base-T which is much faster and they support Jumbo frames (8K), which is required for my product. Hope there's any kind soul who can help out, thanks!

The Acer Nitro 5 like I've got the AN515-56 (which is the previous Intel 11th Gen laptop) have the Intel® Killer™ E2600 - The Killer E2600 automatically detects, classifies, and prioritizes network traffic and ensures the most important data is delivered fast with 1Gbps of throughput. Integrated 10/100/1000M transceiver, Supports 1-Lane 2.5Gbps PCI Express Bus and Wake-On-LAN support and LAN Connector Location JRJ45 at left side that comes with the i5-11300H cpu and GTX-1650 gpu and is a great laptop running Win-11.

Also look at the new Acer Nitro 5 12th Gen specs laptops as these are the new 12th Gen Nitro 5's that are reasonably priced and all have all that you want in the LAN port or look at the Predator range which is the upper spec laptop in the Acer range, that is what I would suggest that you do.

Does the LAN Connector RJ45 port allow a Gigabit Ethernet cable (in screenshot) to be inserted?
