Hi all,
I've been using an Acer laptop (Acer Aspire E15 E5-575G-50PY) for more than 5 years. a few years back it stopped running on battery even though it showed as fully charged as soon as it was disconnected from main power it restarted with a blue screen message, but I was able to use it with still connected.
A few days ago I had its battery replaced, yet I'm getting the same blue screen messages after about 45min it runs on battery (a different blue screen msg every time) I tried reinstalling windows (Windows 10 Pro) but the issue remains the same...
as long as it's connected to the main power it works fineSo far I got the following blue screen errors
- SYSTEM THREAD EXCEPTION NOT HANDLED
- SYSTEM_SERVICE_EXCEPTION (what failed: Ci.dll)
- IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL
- KMODE EXCEPTION NOT HANDLED (what failed: Ntfs.sys)
- PAGE FAULT IN NONPAGED AREA
- CRITICAL PROCESS DIED
- UNEXPECTED KERNEL MODE TRAP
- UNEXPECTED STORE EXCEPTION
I ran a memory diagnostic as well but found no issues...
I think the problem is with power distribution in the motherboard... Is the issue battery-related? any suggestion on what I should do to fix this?
