Pink screen with blue lines

Hi everybody,
I have a issue with my screen on my laptop, a pink screen with blue lines. I know it's not the graphic card as my monitor doesn't have the issue when plugged. I also update the drivers, and checked if the screen appears the same way when in the BIOS, which it does. I'd like to check the ribbon cable but have no idea how to do that. Do you have a video that I can watch on how to do it ?
Thank you

You probably need a new LCD video cable. Google search your full Acer model number (for example, E5-575G) & LCD video cable for vendors who ship to your location. Usually less than about $25usd. You can learn how to do on youtube by searching your model number & disassembly.

Thank you, I'm gonna try that. Just afraid that the issue is the screen itself and not the cable...

Before getting a new cable, you could also first try to re-seat the old cable at both ends a few times to help clean the connector contacts just in case heat and humidity might have adversely affected them. They're usually sticky-taped so they don't easily come apart but certainly could still be suspectible to corrosion.

@CelineC in addition, unplug the battery cable first as it could cause a short to the motherboard when working with the display cable.
Please remember to include @AnhEZ28 when you want to reply back to my comment so that I can check your response.
Thank you and have a nice day!

Good point!!! Also unplug charger. A grounded anti-static wrist strap would be advisable too. :)
