I have an Aspire V3-571G - NXRZKEK001. When i upgraded the laptop to Windows 10, the Bluetooth feature stopped working. WiFi appears to be working perfectly and i've not had any issues with it.

Below are screen shots of the device manager. Since there are no issues shown, i assume Bluetooth is intergrated in to the Qualcomm Artheros? I assume it's an issue with an incorrectly driver installed? Which driver should be installed?

Thanks

    Hi,

Just a short question. Did you have launch manager on windows 8? And you had a sort of key combination (eg FN+something) to enable selectively the bluetooth and/or the wireless?

If yes, that would mean that when you upgraded you had the bluetooth disabled and now is disabled, and from personal experience (on other notebook not your model) launch manager will not work. Thus the only idea in my head is to install somehow, on a partition another older OS, on which launch manager worked previously and then enable the bluetooth. I think it will remain enabled and windows 10 will be able to use it. But I cannot be sure about it, it's just an idea. If you make it work you can always delete the partition with the other OS and then come back to windows 10.

Interesting. So i assume you're implying that this is a setting within the hardware from the OS?
I would have thought that Windows would have told the hardware the settings each time the computer is started.

I don't have my old installation of Windows 8. Does it matter if i use a stock version of Windows 8?

The laptop has a function key with a number of hardware related keys - speaker volume, screen brightness, wireless, trackpad, etc.

I can't remember if i did have bluetooth disabled but it is very possible with the idea of saving battery life. So it's very possible.

    Hi,

For my previous OS, and launch manager, when I hit FN+F3(i think this was the key combination) the launch manager would bring up a menu, where I can selectively turn on the wireless and the bluetooth, independently one of another.

If you had the similar situation, then probably a windows 8 install, and launch manager enabling could make the bluetooth visible again in windows 10 as well.

However I cannot be sure that it will work in your case.

You can install any stock windows 8, but you will need to manually add the drivers and launch manager from http://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/drivers

Thanks! I didn't realise that things like the launch manager would be available via the drivers section of Acer's website.

    Dear All,

Recently i was trying to activate the bluetooth as well since it did not even show up in the device manager after windows 10 upgrade. After reading a bunch of forums and watched pretty much all the video guides available with no luck i started trying various steps and eventualy i appeared!

I will try to explain what steps i did in order to see if you can get it as well.

First of all i downloaded the drivers for windows 8.1 in acer drivers section of my model(acer v3 771g).

Both atheros and Broadcomm. On Broadcomm drivers there are 2 setup files one will tell you that there is no device for installation the other will proceed.

After the installation i went to services and set the bluetooth to active (auto)

    Then restart.

No bluetooth in device manager BUT after pressing Fn+F3 a bunch of times suddenly bluetooth activated and it popped out in device manager as well at windows 10 settings under the devices page!

I hope all you that have the same problem i had will work the same way it did to me and fix this prolem!

Go into 'Device Manager' and see if the Bluetooth is installed, if it is then do the following: press <Fn> + <F3> keys together, as your Bluetooth wasn't probably activate on your system.

If you haven't got the Bluetooth driver in 'Device Manager' then download your appropriate Bluetooth driver which is most likely a Broadcom which you can get the driver from Acer and its a Win-8.1 version 12.0.0.3400 (that will work with Win-10) or if you have an Atheros AR5B22-AR9462 WiFi/BT, then the Bluetooth driver for Win-10 can be acquired from this link: https://www.ath-drivers.eu/download-driver-for-Atheros-chipset-with-id-76-and-Windows10-64bit.html

But note, that there are different Mini PCI-E adaptors fitted to the V3-571G, so you have to get the exact name and model number that you have! To get the name and model number, open the back panel at the bottom and the Mini PCI-E WiFi/BT card will be visible there, note the name and model number from there.

First check "Device Manager" and if that is ok and has no exclamation marks next to any drivers? Then reboot and after login press either F3 key or F3+Fn keys to activate the BT, if that doesn't work, uninstall both WiFi and BT drivers completely through "Device Manager"  and reinstall drivers again, you can get drivers from Acer site for the V3-571G. Btw. I'm using a V3-571G to answer this post on WiFi and listening to to music BT on my JBL LIVE650BTNC's headphones while doing this and it works 100% and has worked 100% always.

The Aspire V3-571G's are a great older type laptops as I'm still using one with the latest Win-10 Pro latest version 21H1 OS built 19043.1165 and never ever had any problems with this laptop since new. Btw I've upgraded a few of its OEM components but not many to the following:
OEM Specs left: CPU i7-3610QM with the OEM GPU of the GeForce GT640M driver NVIDIA version 25.21.14.2531 dated 9/04/2019.
Upgrade Specs: Samsung 1TB EVO 850 SSD (using the OEM 750GB TOSHIBA MK7559GSXP spinner HDD as a slave drive in the DVD slot with a caddy), RAM at 16GB total (2x 8GB DDR3-1866MHz) and all other components are OEM.

Make sure you backup your system always and periodically with a bootable software like Macrium Reflect v7 in case of any BSOD problems and troubles. All in all this laptops performance has been improved by at least 400% to its OEM performance, this laptop is a great knock around and overall laptop for general usage.

[Content removed] Bandicut Keygen frequently crashed issue while editing videos using the AV1 video codec when in High-speed mode. Additionally, the issue of removing the audio tracks’ option not being correctly saved has been resolved.

crackingpc, your post has nothing to do with “How to fix no Bluetooth on V3-571G on Win 10” as I’ve got a V3-571G and have used it for 10 years and I know everything about this great and durable laptop! Stop scamming and wasting our community time with your advertising of “https://crackingpc.com/bandicut-crack/” there is no issues with the V3-571G’s Bluetooth drivers as this laptop has either a Broadcom wifi/bt card or a Qualcomm wifi/bt which I have and this card and both work perfectly with their latest wifi/bt drivers. Stop wasting our time crackingpc!

Install the latest available BT drivers. Reboot. Open Device Manager (right click on Start/WIndows button), On View, select Show hidden devices. The device list should now refresh, showing some Microsoft BT device. Uninstall it. Scan for hardware changes, the correct driver should now be installed and BT working.

Here's how to turn Bluetooth on or off in Windows 10:

    Do one of the following:

On the taskbar, select the Network icon. Select the Bluetooth quick setting to turn it On or Off.

Select Start > Settings > Bluetooth & devices, then turn Bluetooth on or off.

I have an acer aspire v3 571. It's on windows 10 and today i found out that my wifi adapter actually supports bluetooth. I thought it didn't because it never showed up. Up until finding this webpage, I tried to install some drivers and it did not fix the problem, however after install this acer launcher the problem got fixed immediately. Now everything works. Thanks to @devj16982 and other people that participated!!!!
