Hello, I have screen tearing and other visual artifacts while I simply work in graphic software / use OBS Studio / watch video in VLC media player.
I've tried everything possible a normal user can think of: graphic cards' drivers reinstallation (Intel HD 630 / NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1050) as well as update of BIOS driver / Intel chipset
Also I've switched on and off a lot of settings while contacting with NVIDIA support (included v-sync / hardware acceleration / optimised power use).
so, after I sent a video of screen tearing they've advised me to go to manufacturer and ask for help, saying it's a hardware (incompatibility?) issue.
my warranty has been expired, but is there any ideas how I can fix it?
as I was told on another forum screen tearing has nothing to do with hardware power, it's a problem of drivers/OS/settings.
it's extremelly painful to work with lagging (sometimes visual artifacts just stay) and screen tearing, what can I do?
