Hello all,

There was a line in one of the few reviews that one SKU of this model was set up for a secondary 2.5-inch drive, but I can't find any other mention of that, much less a list of the SKUs in question. One of the things that sold me on my previous Acer (Aspire E5-575G-53VG) was that second drive slot. I'd rather not take the Urban apart unnecessarily in its first week, so does anyone know if it really has room for a second drive inside?

Also, I'm not sure I understand the Thunderbolt 4-via-USB C feature. I thought TB4 had 20 or 40Gbps data transfer, but the manual seems to indicate the standard USB-C Gen 2 10Gbps rate. I don't need the TB4 speed, but I'm curious whether it has it.

Thanks!

Thank you! Where'd you manage to find a motherboard map? Best I can ever find is the standard manual. I'd love a repair manual, but they seem impossible to get. ... The USB C/TB4 port is about what I was expecting. Thanks again!

Only one 2.5" socket. Now the thunderbolt fine print. The C port is thunderbolt device compatible. But not at thunderbolt device max speeds. To achieve max thunderbolt device speeds, a thunderbolt cable and true bi-directional thunderbolt port is needed. Which this C port ain't. :)
