Acer Aspire 3 A315-34 -C8S5 RAM not upgradable?

Hi, I have an Acer Aspire 3 A315-34 -C8S5 with 4GB RAM. When I called to ask about a RAM upgrade I was told that there is NOT an additional slot, but only the one slot with the existing RAM that the laptop came with (the 4GB). If I want more RAM, I would need to change the motherboard! I thought that there was one soldered to the MB and another empty slot that could take a DDR4 SODIMM? Does anyone know if certain models do indeed NOT have a slot for memory upgrades? Thanks.

@Anthony_S according to this video, it should have an empty RAM slot. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M7_q9gHnjDU

@AnhEZ28 thanks for this info.  However, looking at the inside of the A315-34 and then comparing to the next You-Tube video where an A315-35 inside is shown, I do notice that the -34 seems to have a small metallic cover over the area where the -35 clearly shows the 2nd memory slot (the left of two slots). So actually might be that the -34 does not have a 2nd slot.

@Anthony_S yes, 34 just has one slot and the original 4GB is soldered.
